Joseph A. Russo, M.D.
Board-certified and Harvard-trained Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joseph Russo has spent 33 years and counting in private practice outside Boston, always intrigued by the ever-growing ways to provide non-surgical options, which eventually became the aesthetic medicine we know today.
Dr. Russo facilitated improvements to the initial generations of lasers in the late 1990's and was one of the earliest adaptors to cosmetic neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the Northeast. Unlike other surgery practices, Dr. Russo expanded his team to include nurse injectors, laser technicians, and delegated ancillary staff to use a myriad of lasers and rejuvenative offerings, creating a true cosmetic center. Just half way through his career, Dr. Russo realized he was a surgeon whose future would bring him far beyond the OR.
